1.Warranty Coverage:
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser who has purchased the product through an authorized dealer and has paid for the product in full.
Oakel City warrants its pre-finished engineered hardwood flooring to be free from defects in structure, machining, and final dimensions under normal residential usage for a period of 25 years from the date of purchase.
We also warrant that the UV Cured aluminum oxide finish, when used in a residential application and under normal residential conditions with recommended maintenance procedures, will not wear through or separate from the hardwood flooring.
2. Exclusions:
a) Excessive Moisture: Oakel City is not responsible for any issues resulting from excessive moisture, including but not limited to cupping, warping, shrinkage, twisting, buckling, splits, checks, or any issues resulting from sub-floor inadequacies or failure to follow maintenance procedures.
b) Improper Installation: The warranty does not cover the installation of defective boards. Installation of the product signifies acceptance, and it is the installer’s responsibility to examine the products prior to installation and remove any unacceptable boards.
c) Non-Covered Damages: Any damage caused by fire, intentional abuse, flooding, plumbing and appliance leaks, water spillage, water leakage through sliding glass doors, vacuum cleaner beater bars, improper caster wheels, cutting from sharp objects, or any exterior application is not covered by this warranty. Damage caused by pets, spiked heels, negligence, insects, wet mopping, water, or the use of non-recommended maintenance procedures is also not covered.
d) Natural Variations: Variation in color, shade, or texture of the flooring delivered from those shown on samples or photographs is not considered a defect. Discoloration from heat or sunlight, gloss and color reduction are also not considered defects and are not covered by this warranty. Slight color and tone variations may occur when matching old flooring with new flooring.
3. Limitations:
The warranty does not cover any loss of time, inconvenience, incidental expenses, or any other incidental or consequential damages or costs incurred, including but not limited to the cost of labor and materials involved in the removal or re-installation of defective or affected materials.
Please note that this warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Additionally, we offer a 30-day return policy for unopened and undamaged products from the date of purchase. If you decide to return the product within this timeframe, simply contact our customer service department, and we will assist you with the return process. Please note that opened or damaged products are not eligible for return under this policy.
